Join us for an unforgettable weekend in the forest!
Retreat from urban life and be in community with other men who appreciate being in a beautiful forest setting! This event will be located at a well known clothing optional resort just 30 miles outside Portland, OR. Common Q & A’s
Do I have to be naked all the time?
No! This is a clothing optional resort, so you can wear clothing when appropriate. You can participate in activities with underwear or other clothing. You are required to have a towel or sarong to place down on all surfaces you’re putting your bare butt on as a policy of the resort. Nudity is only required in the soaking spa, sauna and swimming pools.
Do I have to do yoga?
No! These practices are meant to be all levels and you can modify or skip certain poses entirely. In fact, if the practice doesn’t feel right, you can go in the spa or take care of yourself as you need. There is space for you to explore what you need physically and mentally.
What if it’s raining?
We are Oregonians! We can still do activities inside in the clubhouse that has a wood stove for heat in case weather is less than ideal. We’ve occasionally had to do this in past retreats without any issues. As a meditative mindset, we let go of expectations of weather and practice acceptance of the moment.
Is there alcohol at this event?
No drinking is allowed in the sauna, hot tub, or swimming pools. The resort is a family friendly space and does not sell any alcohol. We want you to experience this retreat fully aware and alive in connection with yourself and with each other. We are creating a space for those in recovery from alcohol and want to be mindful of using substances that alter our ability to be present and make conscious decisions.
Can I bring my own food?
Yes. There is a small community kitchen in the clubhouse with a fridge for use. It’s a small fridge so please be considerate and know that it is shared. Meals will be provided on all days.
Are there bathrooms & water nearby?
Yes. The clubhouse will also be accessible for water in the kitchen 24hrs. There are bathrooms in the clubhouse building, as well as in the hot tub building a short walk away from the campsites.
